The NEW da Vinci® 5 Single Instrument Tray (IN-8951-R) and da Vinci® 5 3 Instrument & Accessories Tray (IN-8955-R) are being released, in parallel with Intuitive Surgical’s launch of their latest instruments using haptics technology, advancing robotic surgery across the globe.
Haptics is the technology that simulates the sense of touch through vibrations, motions, or force feedback. The Da Vinci® 5 EndoWrists use haptic feedback to enhance a surgeon’s tactile perception during robotic surgery, allowing them to feel the tissue resistance and texture, improving precision and control.
The da Vinci® 5 3 Instrument & Accessories Tray (IN-8955) are designed to be used with blue wrap or rigid containers. The new Instrument has a larger shaft and is not compatible with our existing da Vinci® Endowrist trays.
